Arab Street

While Mike was in school, kids and I had a final adventure in Singapore. We went to visit Arab street.

シンガポール最後の週、マミーと子供達だけで、アラブストリートに観光に出かけてみました。

Kids were so excited to see the Mosque because it looks just like Princess Jasmine's palace. Well, they still think that was Princess Jasmine's palace...

イスラムのモスクを見るなり、ガールズは大興奮！ディズニー映画「アラジン」のプリンセスジャスミンのお城だと思ったようです。まぁ、屋根が似ていなくもないですが…。未だにそう思っております。

We were lucky that we arrived just before they closed the mosque, so we got to see inside.

12時直前に滑り込み、モスクが閉まる直前に中も見せてもらえることができました。

Then, we walked around Arab street. It was a fabric district and it reminded me of Nippori in Tokyo. It was fun walking around there.

その後、アラブストリートを少々散策。シンガポールの繊維街のようで、東京の日暮里繊維街を連想させられる町並みでした。
