Ellie's School Camp

Ellie went on her first school camp. She went up to Nikko and spent 3 days (2 nights) with her school friends and teachers. It was her first time being away from her parents for that long. (I guess it's OUR first time away from Ellie for that long too.)

エリの幼稚園の夏合宿です。２泊３日、日光に行ってきました。

I thought she was going to be a little sad to leave us at her departure. Maybe a little tear? Heck NO! She was so excited to go on a trip with her friends! She basically smiled and said "Bye, Mom and Dad! I'm going!!" Her backpack was bigger than her, but she carried it all by herself!

エリの初の親元を離れての合宿。大丈夫か？という親の心配をよそに、本人はいたって元気で、「いってきまーす！！」と元気良く出発していきました。リュックの大きさは、エリと同じぐらい！

It seems that she had a lot of fun at the school camp. She told us bunch of fun stories. We missed her but we were glad that she had a fun time.

３日間の合宿から帰ってくると、大興奮でいっぱいお話してくれました。マミー達はエリがいなくて寂しい３日だったけど、いっぱい楽しんでこれてよかったね♪
