Opera date

We figure that every once and a while we need a break from our kids. Today we left our kids with the babysitter and went on a date to watch the Opera "La Traviata" at Tokyo Opera Palace. We have been to the opera often.

Anyway, tonight's opera was in Italian and everything was really beautiful. Music was gorgeous and the show was very beautiful. We really enjoyed our date tonight.

今日は子供達はベビーシッターに預け、久々のデートでオペラ鑑賞に行ってまいりました。うちは新国立劇場から歩いて3分の立地なので、オペラは結構行きます。ミュージカルも好きですが、オリジナル言語そのままで鑑賞ができるオペラをやはり好んで観ます。

今夜のオペラは「椿姫」。オーケストラの美しい演奏とステキな舞台で、とっても楽しいデートとなりました。

Anniversary Dinner at CITABRIA

Mike took me to the nice anniversary dinner to CITABRIA in Nishi Azabu. The restaurant was in modern french style, very nice setting, food was delicious, and we spent a wonderful time together during dinner.
It is getting a little warmer and the weather was nice, so Mike drove a bike and I sat on the back. We had a little bit of time before dinner, and we drove around Roppongi Hills and Tokyo Midtown. Sakura was almost gone, but it was a still nice to look around.

今日は旦那様に結婚記念日のDinnerに、西麻布のCITABRIAに連れて行ってもらいました。とても素敵なモダンフレンチレストランで、お食事もおいしくいただき、すばらしい夜をすごすことができました♪
久しぶりのデートだったし、だいぶ外気も暖かくなってきたので、今回はバイクで。予約の時間まで余裕があったので、2人で六本木ヒルズ、東京ミッドタウンの夜の景色を楽しみながらドライブをしました。
